I'm seriously considering a 2" body lift on my '76. I need to replace my fuel tank fill hoses anyways. Do I have to find extra length ones or would stock ones allow for the lift?> Thanks all.

if you're staying with the "stock" fuel tank, in the stock configuration; yes. Unless you are going to fabricate a brace/bracket to lift the tank. If you are considering one on the newer 23 gal upgrades, then it would depend on the tank you buy. Some of the new tanks (WH and BCB) have track mounting system which allows you to move the tank up to match your bodylift.

When you're actually doing the body lift, make sure you disconnect the fan shroud and any column mounted automatic transmission linkage. Maybe even for the manual trans if that's what you have, but I've gotten away without disconnecting clutch and manual trans linkage before.

My experience is that most will not need longer fuel hoses, but some do.
You will obviously have to modify the fan shroud, or get one with the body lift in mind.
Many do not have to notch the floor for the transfer case shifter, but some do. Not sure if the J-shift you have is more forgiving of this than the T-shift of earlier models, but it's something to be aware of anyway.
