Suggestions for sealing dipstick hole in block?

Hey everyone-
I'm putting a dual-sump pan (from Summit) on my 351 which came with a new dipstick in the pan. I already have one which passes through the block just above the pan that I need to seal up. I don't think it's threaded, but I was thinking of tapping it and installing an allen-headed set screw with locktite. Any other ideas?

Hole is right ID to tap for 1/8" pipe plug. Just did this recently for the same reason. Don't tap to deep, just enough to get plug flush, and use some thread sealent or tape.

Thanks Doyle- Just took the old dipstick out and was looking at the block casting. There isn't a whole lot of metal there. I want to keep some of the smooth bore in case I ever need to go back to a dipstick in the block.

You can get some very tiny freeze plugs from Dorman products - they have a zillion sizes. You can tap it in with a small punch to seal the hole then knock it out if you want to use it again.

I just installed a 5.0 and kept my original pan. The pan covered a portion of the hole, so I adjusted the oil pan gasket to better cover the hole and filled with gasket maker. I have run the motor a few hours and looks good.
If you have access to thread and plug that would be the better option.
