I had my 4x4x2 box already cut into the frt body mount but if you narrow the D60 then the tires will only turn a little bit to the right b4 the left front hits the body mount and strg box--mine already was with 37"s so I moved it again...then moved the track bar mount then totally cut both both body mounts out...all clears now but took about a hundred up/dn/full left full right articulate with full turns or straight ahead or ...every possible combination of wheel/tire position at all suspension possibilities...floor jacks are about worn out! ..least my shoulder feels like it! :)

What box are you running? Stock or perhaps a 4x4x2?
Cutting the body mount to allow a 4x4x2 box to sit farther forward is what we normally recommend even for a normal installation due to tie-rod/pitman arm clearance issues.

I am running a 4x4x2 box. I was going to move the steering box forward, never thought about using that mounting hole though. Thank you for the pdf. Glad to know it will work out that way.

Mine looks like all should clear well except the trac bar. Only about 4-1/2" uptravel (at the tracbar mount) till it contacts the oil pan. I'll have to fabricate a new tracbar, but for now the stock one works.

I'm sure I'm going to run into a ton of issues I haven't even thought of yet.:)

I got a little creative on the Bridgeport today.

I just need to radius the bottom of the block to fit the curve of the tierod. Set the power steering box a little forward then tack it all in. Remeasure, then weld and gussett for strength. Should work fine.

FYI: My draglink and tracbar are both 28" and they are both on a 12.5 degree angle.

For now I'm happy with the steering. The trac bar will need to be fabricated, but the original one gives me almost 5" of uptravel as is. Hopefully it will all be burned in before next weekend.
