I always tell folks to tape up the holes on the frame under the body mount behind the seats, when they're removing the body or putting on new body bushings.

Was looking at a 66' bare frame and it had no holes, looked at a 69' beside it and it had no holes??? What year did the holes start??%)%)%)

What holes are you talking about. There are a lot of holes everywhere. The description of the location is extremely vague.

The holes on top of the frame, just below the body mounts. Body mounts third set from the front. These are the holes that everyone drops the nut into while installing a body lift or just new mounts, if you don't place tape over those holes.

X2. Taped mine on my 70 and saved me at least one fishing trip.

If you've ever dropped the nut and/or bushing in that hole and had to fish it out....you know the hole I'm talking about!!!%)%)%)

So now we got 2 - 70' with holes and a 70' without holes, so I'm thinking that's when it started???;D;D;D

And very much appreciate all the warnings I read prior to installing the 1" BL. Thanks to all who mentioned it.

'76 with the holes. When I put my new bushings in about 6 yrs ago I had read a thread on here where Ben had warned someone about the holes. ;)

My '73 has those holes you need to tape up behind the body mount.
They look like picking holes for lifting the frame into position at the factory.
