If the front is FUBAR, you may want to spend the time and money on a Tube Cage for the motor. They are so cool when they are done right. I know there are a few build threads on this site. Dennis in Colorado on this site has an amazing set-up on his Bronco.

That reminds me of how a lot of my mods/rebuilds are going haha. Glad to hear you're staying positive, if you aren't having fun with this then there really isn't much of a point.

I've heard of, but haven't seen a tubed front end. I'm willing to consider anything as long as it's not too off the wall. Can you remember the name of his build thread?

I gotta stay positive about this project. It's my first time attempting anything of this magnitude so I expect things to go wrong. Fortunately in this day and age there's a good support system and many resources for knowledge and parts. If ya have the money and time, anything can be fixed... Now I just gotta find those last two things and I'll be good :(

X2 pick up the tub by the Seat Belt mounting holes. I Pm'd Mad years ago and his advice has worked great for me every time.
The frame I made is steel but 4x4's work well also since the tub's are as light as they are.

we managed to do it with two people... two long pipes across the bottom of the body, lift it off and slide it off. wasn't too hard at all. even had to pick it up over wildhorses long travel shock mounts in the rear.
