Putting the final parts together. Worked 14 hours on it today, even got it running without any issues. The new exhaust sounds a little deeper/meaner.
Painted the hood centre and pinstriped it. Got the front seats, console and belts in. Working on the inner fender liners. Making them out of HDPE to keep the rocks from starring the glass. A real pain to make by yourself, the plastic just wants to do exactly opposite of what you need it to do. Four hands would make it so much easier.

Thanks all for the compliments.

Mark, you will have a great time at the stampede. Its my favourite annual event. Its quite a trip for me so I don't go every year. Looking forward to meeting you there.

The vents in the hood and fenders are functional. I cut them in before I went to Sandlake last august, you can see the heat coming out. I don't have heating problems but I like to keep the air moving because when propane is worked hard it puts some good heat into the exhaust.

Wow, I only wish 14 hours of work on a Bronco looked that impressive when I do it! As always I'm floored with your workmanship, I hope to see it someday!

Great looking Bronco with tons of unique custom touches. Would love to see it. Maybe make it to the "Bronco Round-up Canada 2016" in Red Deer, Alberta on Aug 19, 20 21 if you can.

Thanks, but Red deer won't happen for me. Late July and August will be super busy for me.

I did get it outside for a run down the street. One of the rear axle seals is leaking, have to fix that. Still have to mount the toolbox lock cover and finish the park brake. Then its ready to go and get scratched. The guy that does my powdercoating saw it and told me I was nuts to take it wheeling. I told him that's what its for!!

I wish I could, I currently have a frame off on a 72 that I'm working on for a friend, and an efi, 5spd swap along with suspension upgrades that I need to finish first. I hope to make it to the stampede, the unevent, and the bronco safari, over the next 3 years.

Until then here's mine, it's not much to look at, but hopefully soon it will be.

Colorado75Bronc, good solid looking truck to start with. I always started with rust free trucks when I first got into Broncos. .....Meaning - most of the truck was free because I didn't pay for the rust. Some of the wrecks I drove....those were the days.....NOT. The stampede is a great time, just a few more days. I cant wait.

Brian , the plan is to have a quick stop at your house sunday am. Straight though should put me at your house around 10-10;30 unless we stop for breakfast. Then it will be a little later. Does that work for you?

Gary's not going to wheel that. ;D Did I ever tell you about the time he hit the gas and the next thing you know the whole rear pinion and driveshaft were laying in the middle of the trail (dirt road)? Let's see where was that....oh yeah AZ Bronco Stampede.

Jim

Yeah...he hates wheeling, hates the skinny pedal, hates off-camber, hates road trips!!

Wish I could take the week off and follow him down...if I could keep up with him! : )

Wheelin??? no way I might scratch my purdy paint.....

Well lets see if I can make it past eight days before messing it up. That's my record for fresh paint before damage.
