so, do have headers or are you using the stock manifolds?, please let me know

Sorry for the late reply Marco, I'll be using the stock manifolds as I bought a new set. My plan was to use as much of the stock piping as possible as Tasker put a new muffler and tailpipe on the explorer and well, why buy new if it's already there...

That plan quickly went out the window. The drivers side pipe worked great, the passenger side pipe is really tight to the frame and trans. Plus, the pipes don't join each other until they see the muffler. There isn't enough room between the frame and transmission to run two 2-1/2" pipes side by side above the crossmember (I don't want to go below, I fear it'll get crushed). One is good, but two is not going to happen...so I'll be towing the Turd to a local exhaust shop to bend up some pipes. The plan is two into one at the trans, then out back along the passenger side into a Flowmaster Super 40, over the axle, hug the tank and frame and out the side after the rear tire as high as it can get so I don't crush it on the rocks at Gore like I did my last pipe (damn near cut it in half using the rear spring perch and a very solid rock...

They're on the engine...nothing else is bolted up...soon theory, yes. It was the cat that was making it not fit...I don't see a problem if it was just a pipe...

Randy...I damaged the bottom, Your job was both sides %)

Nothing...I'm using the Explorer stock manifolds...sorry, we were talking apples and oranges.

Got it know, I was thinking of stock manifolds as stock for the bronco, you meant stock for the explorer, thanks for clearing that up. I was under the impression stock explorer with p heads manifolds wil not clear on the Bronco.
