Should have read Yelp before you bought.

Too bad, doing your homework and checking on the forum would have helped. Now time to fight them or decide to move on to fix it. The guys here know a ton and can steer you in the right direction.

So much so that I didn't think it could be possible. Chris and Britt and his business associates have a plan: they bait buyers in with cars and then at the every last moment claim that vehicle is not available. Then, once they've run the buyer out of time, they up-sell a "better" vehicle. Once the vehicle arrives it's in shambles and not at all what they claimed ... but don't worry, they'll buy it back for a 20% restocking fee.

Here's the overview:
- WWVA sold me a 79 Bronco that turned out to not have a title (a fact that released the night before a shipper was coming to pick it up)
- While the clock ticked on the financing I opened they tried to find me a "better" vehicle
- At the very last moment -- and after paying more money -- they ship me a 71 Blazer that they claim is in great running condition and original
- When the Blazer arrives it's a complete Frankenstein; transmission is leaking everywhere and needs to be completely rebuilt, calipers have bad welds and need to be replaced, none of the seals on the cap are aligned and need to be redone and the top windshield CUT OFF and welded because it had rotted off and someone had done a horrible repair (none of this information was shared -- their "mechanics" claimed it was in running order)
- Three different mechanics that I brought it to said they were surprised the truck could even make it down the block the transmission and breaks were so poor
- Electrical is a rats nest and the car can't pass inspection because household materials were used to connect everything and all the circuits keep shorting out
- Every conversation with the management team was a fight and they make it seem like they are doing you a favor and you're trying to rip them off

I've driven this car twice, made two finance payments, and already dumped in more than $5k. So here's a bit of advice: listen to the poor reviews. Every single one is true. Don't listen to a word these guys say. I trusted a stranger and am currently paying for it.

At the end of it: WWVA are just dirty crooked used car dealers with little to no knowledge of vintage or classic

So this was you that bought the 79 from them and posted the review on Yelp? Sounds like a lesson learned.

Just seemed odd that you did not mention your purchase in the older thread. You mentioned you had heard bad things about them and had seen one of their vehicles. Maybe I'm missing something when trying to piece it all together.....

Got it. It seemed that you had purchased from them yourself. That was the confusing part.:) They are definitely shady at best.

8/7/2015 Trust them as much as you would trust any used car dealer...
After my mechanic went over my car it turned out to have: a bent chassis from an undisclosed accident, rot and corrosion undisclosed and quickly painted over with Rustoleum, AC not working and leaking (they told me it worked) Rusty brakes, calipers rusted through, brake lines leaking, fuel line leaking, engine and transfer case leaking, trans that wouldn't shift beyond 2nd, CEL on, holes in the passenger floor, exhaust rusted through, oil cooler lines leaking and dangerous, and more. The current bill is $12k and counting for repairs and that's not including the body work and chassis damage.
