Right on and I also don't understand the peeps gettin the heebee geebees when someone wants to cut their own rig. It was the cut ones the put Broncos on the map back in the day.

The badd azz reputation that Broncos have to this day are rooted in what the cut n lifted big tired ones of the '70's n '80's did!

Just my two cent...carry on

I agree with you. I'm hoping to build this one into a capable crawler.

Nice job! Gotta get better caught up on this but everything looks really nice!

Jaromy, holy smokes I have been away too long and no moss is growing anywhere near that Beast. Just got caught up on the work and its really is impressive. It is gonna be a Grrrrreeeaat rig for sure. Your boy already has the FEVER it looks like which is awesome. Some great memories already and more to come I am sure. Great job and I will be keeping up to see this come together!

Not for nothin, but why don't you just do the EFI conversion now! It is gonna be alot easier to work it in without the tubes burned in and make the appropriate changes than after it is all burned in. You have taken it this far and it just seems somewhat it would be smarter to work the EFI in now. I assume your gonna use the explorer setup but if not that is a different story and probably easier to stick with current layout and avoid alot of changes in regard to the tube work around the engine! Just my .02! Hell my truck is in need of a big makeover starting to think but mine is a different animal that will never see the rocks most likely.

Love it man!

The main reason for not starting the Explorer swap right now is that I really want to drive it again soon. The front clip/tube work is removable so it will be easy to do the swap later. The only bar that will need to change is the one between the strut towers and that is bolted on as well.

My brother just sent his Explorer harness to Garry so I will have a good idea what I'll need to change when he starts the swap.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

My brother designed some lower radiator brackets for me. I got them installed yesterday.

The tank is hanging from the mounting hardware right now. It will raise up about another inch when done. I attempted to build a skid like Migs did for his tank. His looks much better than mine ;)

This was our first time using a bead roller. It could be better, but it will work for me. We step rolled the drivers side where the ARB and manifold will sit. The passenger side has a lot of electronics to mount so I went simple.

You may want to look into a clear polycarbonate hood so you don't have to open it all the time. Can't wait to see it on the road.

Nice work! Are those Dzus dimples on the inner fenderwell peices, and then regular button heads? Is that just for panel stiffness, or are you going to go Dzus at the end?

I used trick tabs from RuffStuff for my fender mounting so I decided to use them on the inner fenders to keep all the mounting the same. I used a 3/8" crater maker from Hammer Fab and regular 3/8" button heads. It added some stiffness to the panel and gave it a finished look.

Front axle is wrapped up. I switched to TBird calipers to give me the brake line clearance I needed and I added eccentric ball joint sleeves to take out the positive camper I had.
