I really had higher hopes for you. Especially since we have the same intake and distributor . I haven't even tried to figure my mileage with the edelbrock 1405. It gets me around town. And I fill up a lot if I drive it a lot.. lol I really have only had problems with it on steep inclines, like the boat launch.. And some steep hills at OCBR. Might be worth me trying all of the off road mods suggested for edelbrock carbs. The efi just really seems like a cool but expensive solution.

It may work itself out. I'm not very patient but I am between jobs now so I have the time to put some miles on it. The frustrating part is when I have it running good it seems to go in the wrong direction after putting more miles on it. Ran great Wednesday but Thursday the idle is 300 rpms higher. So to adjust that back down you have to reset the self learn and start over. So now I'm not going to touch it and put some miles on it and see how it runs.
If I still have multiple issues I will send the throttle body and cpu back to Edelbrock for diagnostics. Hell, if it's a bad unit I'd like to know before just chucking it.
