Hi everyone,

Trying to order a set of tires/wheels for my 1976 stock suspension bronco with no body lift with cut fenders and rear quarters. I am considering these specs.

A 32 x 11.50 tire
on a 15in rim (8in wide)
with 3.63 in backspacing

Would I be able to fit this configuration on my Bronco?

Thanks,

Maybe...
Depends on how cut the fenders and quarters are.
I've run as large as a 33x12.50R15 on 15x10 rims (standard old school backspacing whatever that was) with zero lift.

If you are purchasing both tires and wheels, it might be worth a couple minutes to compare what a similar 17" wheel combo would look like. I'm finding fewer and fewer tire options in the 15" range and as these things become more vintage that will likely get worse.

I was thinking more of the clearing the sheetmetal. But yes on looking at 17s. I had a '77 F250 that was running ~32" tire and I put some 17" wide oval slots on it. The wheels were properly proportioned to the overall package. Really only ½" larger than the stock wheels. In short, yes, 17" wheel with tires you are considering are a really good idea to look at.
