I've read many threads pro and con about cutting or not cutting a bronco (rear fenders). I have an uncut with a fresh crate engine and rebuilt tranny etc. that I am planning on making my daily driver. I have a very short commute (1 mile). I also have a '72 down to the frame and a '76 currently without an engine or tranny and with a rough body for a future project. I want to keep it uncut, but I want to be able to put the bigger tires and wheels on. I don't have the funds right now to get the '76 going, and I don't want to lift the uncut rig. My question is: If I'm careful cutting it, and save the pieces, how hard would it be to have the pieces welded back in to go back to original in say 3 or 4 years? I'm not worried about value, I don't plan on selling for sentimental reasons. Thanks in advance for the advice/opinions.
