I just installed one. Seems decent. I had to replace an inside the frame gigantic PO installed box. It is definitely close ratio. Think they say it’s 3.75 turns to lock. Mine is more like 3.25 turns to lock. It is smooth. Seems well built. Haven’t put a lot of miles on it yet still getting other steering issues resolved and need an alignment. Think the PS that I got with it needs to have pressure reduced steering is feather light.

Reviving this thread as I am interested as well. Been calling around and a rebuild from a reputable shop is $600-700 so this option is looking pretty good.

I do some wheeling in the rocks, dunes and open desert so if this box is stronger, sounds like a good option.

I believe this is the box -

Anyone have any experience with it?

Thanks,

Been running that box for a couple of years now with great success, zero issues and steering feels very modern, I have not done any heavy off road wheeling so I can’t be a spokes person for “Offroad” durability but does appear to be well built.
I am questioning when and if the time comes for a repair, where to source parts??
