I have Jb twin stick set up coming from JB fab on Tuesday. I have the case torn down. I didn’t realize I had to modify the rails to get correct operation. Or I would have just ordered the rails too. But mine looked brand new. So I saved $160 JB is gone till the 18 and is not shipping. I need to keep this project moving.

I see to Tom’s has what looks to be identical. Can anyone tell me if Jb makes these or if they are from the same manufacturer??? Or will they work with Jbs sticks? Idk why they wouldn’t. Or the ones from Jeff’s?

Joshua, Not sure what you are trying to accomplish here, there is a notation in WH's directions about modifying shift rails, but for average users leaving the shift rails alone works fine... While I don't have Clifford running yet, the JB twin sticks operate the t-case as expected, much easier than the factory T handle. My .02

Trying to make the twin stick operation fully functional without sacrificing safety. I have the t case apart. If it wasn’t I would do exactly what you did. But is apart.

The twin stick kits that Tom's sells are all made by JB, I'd be willing to bet the shift rails are too. If you have a J-shift you don't need to swap out the rails, just cut the tabs on the outside of the case.

Most of the major vendors on the west coast (JB Fab included), along with a lot of us bronco folks are either already at or heading to the NWBR over at the Oregon coast this week. Tom's should still have a small crew at their shop and would be shipping orders through Friday I would imagine.

I ordered it from bronco graveyard, as they used the same exact picture and I’m in Minnesota. It will likely get to me the quickest. I really hope it’s from jb as well

Do those new rails make it shift like a "J" case, or are they the same as the "T" case rails? I assume they are still the T style. If that's so, I think you'll be disappointed because it still won't shift front and rear independently like the J style.

It appears Tom's has a "conversion" set that will allow the independent shifting:

Another option is just leave out the pill/rod that locks out the shifting. Of course, that would allow the wrong combination of high / low gearing.

I’m pretty certain it makes it the same as j. And all tom and Jeff’s are both selling the rails from jb

Na your good. I would not have asked you regardless. Sometimes things are sold under a different brand names in order to be cheaper or to compete with their own product that way the company can get both sales. I wouldn’t expect to be let in on the secret if that was the case.

But if it’s not a secret I don’t understand why they just don’t say it’s from you? I would think your very well known and trusted in the community of bronco and jeep. Meaning they would definitely sell more. Just like wild horses selling Tom Woods drive shafts. But not advertising that they’re made by Tom Woods. It’s not like the price is better from the original manufacturing company who built the product in most cases. In fact it’s usually cheaper from the vendor/big box store, as the manufacturer doesn’t want to undercut the place where people shop for other related products and risk vendors/big box store not ordering several units at a time from the manufacturer.

I bought my first jb product around 20yrs ago and have read that name in many posts since. Always positive. So ya I don’t understand why not just say so.

Anyway everything went back together great and very happy with it so far. Hopefully it’s all good once I get the bronco together!

That was my point with your product. But I’m just Bronco driver guy. Not run a big box store guy.
