Its taken me a couple of days to post this but after owning my 72 EB for 13 months, I got the exaust done and got it registered and inspected. And I drove it for the first time! (other than driving it in a circle around the shop maybe 3 times)

WOW what an awsome feeling, and to think I was actually thinking of selling it. Im am no mechanic but with some help of a couple of friends, a couple of bumps and a lot of learning along the way I got a bronco that had been sitting for over 10 years and not started in 6, running and driving!

I had the top off and put about about 20 miles on her on Thursday. And of course I had to work all weekend and have not been able to think about anything else. Still has a long way to go but I am as excited as ever to keep going.

Can't wait to put some more miles on her tomorrow!;D

I have more questions than answers.
Nice. Now you have had some fun with it and the confidence from getting it going and running after all those years of it being parked. You deserve to have some fun. Keep it driveable while you pick away at what ever you feel you need to do. Enjoy

Good deal. It's gives me great satisfaction to go for that first test drive after doing a repair or upgrade to my EB. Especially when I do the work myself.
How about sharing the experience. Lets see some pictures of you Bronco.;D

Congrats! Had my first drive around the block a few weeks back, bronco hadn't seen the road in maybe 10 years, it is a fantastic feeling to say the least!

Well after almost for years it's coming together. I'm am not a mechanic and have learned a lot as I've gone. With the help of some buddies I have done everything my self except the body work and paint. I should have it back from paint next week and it will be time to put her back together. I have only put about 50 miles on it in 4 years so to say I am excited to drive it would be an understatement! I never thought it would ever look like this and I can't wait to get it back!

Don't shoot me but it's a Hyundai paint color. I know this is bad but I can't remember the name of the color, so I'll just go with an awesome blue with lots of metallic!

Even with the collector value of these things going up, we're not usually all hung up on original colors. A good EB color is a good EB color and we like looking at it!
More important is if you like it, but if you pick a real winner you might not be the only one sporting it shortly!
