Top Shift Plate for stock 3 speed Rat

Looking for a top shift for my Rat 3 speed manual transmission.
Have Hurst shift kit.
To close to the seat, looking for other options.
Mike Hays article in Bronco Driver mentions 74 CJ5 Jeep top shift plate will fit my transmission.
Any help or advise appeicated.

This is on e-bay right now. Never heard it done before but I know some Jeep trannies were similar to Ford so I guess it's possible.
