Torque Convertor for C4?

I am looking for approximately a 2500 stall convertor for my c4. Back in the day GER was a bad name for cheaper convertors so I am leary of cheap convertors.

However, there is one summit model that has all the specs I am looking for at $229. I'm guessing it is a rebadged Boss Hogg or something similar.

Who would you recommend for a $300 or less convertor for performance street driving? Personal experiences? Thoughts?

It is going in my Cougar, but I think EB experiences would apply here:):)

Thanks,

Rob

Are the ACC "Boss Hogg" convertors decent? I know a PTC for around $500 would be sweet but my budget needs to be considered. There is a 347 being put together that will likely be installed with a better convertor in a couple of years.

I have a hughes in mine. Been happy with it. The engine builder said he wouldn't ever use a converter other than a Turbo Action. He swears by them

I ordered mine from broader performance. I think it was over your price limit though.

Ok this helps. Edge has one that is in my price range. I like the Summit house brand one because it is a 10" convertor whereas most in this price range are 12". I am a couple of weeks out on my purchase.

Hughes does have a good name. I know Broader is pretty supportive of the C4. I am a little curious about the ACC brand, but it being in the same neighborhood of where GER came from I just get a little nervous.
