Do I understand it correctly, if I use a 2000 Explorer transmission from an AWD, all I need is the ZFadpater to use my Dana 20? No other adapters needed? Just add a Baumann controller and a TVS.

TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), not TVS.
But yes, that will work.
