transmission lines with EFI reverse radiator

Maybe some radiators are baffled so as to not let the initially engine-hot coolant drop right down on to the tubes, but it seems like that would be only a half-effective solution as the coolant would have only a limited run through some upper tubes before it hit the coils anyway.
(edit: added later when my brain re-started%)) And yet, isn't that then just like a normal radiator, where potentially the hot coolant merely has to travel through one set of tubes-n-fins before reaching the other side and the trans cooler?

Be interesting to see inside one of these things now.

4.0 Radiator - easy to mount and cheap. Make some new lines- they are like bigger brake lines - its not the end of the world

Ditto, that's what I am running with my 5.8l. I pull mine for cheap and it cools fine. When I do upgrade it will be with the all aluminum cxracing model with the enlarged driver side tank. The plastic tanks are the only thing I don't like about the stock 4.0 radiator, although I have never had any issues with them.
