Transmission tunnel

I am replacing all the floor pans in my 1974 bronco. The transmission tunnel i purchased doesn’t have the transfer case shifter hole pre cut. I don’t have my old one to go by either. Can someone please help me on the dimensions and placement of the cutout. Thanks

What transmission are you going to use? Most of the time anything besides a stock transmission will move the shifter back some. '74 was built as a J-shift, is that what you are going to use?

The nice part is a blank floor lets you put the shifter where it needs to be, not where it once was.

i just have the J shifter and need the dimensions from the front and back of the tunnel. I have the boot cover to use as a guide to mark and cut the hole.

Just pulled the old carpet out of my ‘74 this weekend. If there wasn’t a raging thunderstorm right now I could easily take those measurements for you. If no one chimes in before, I’ll get them as soon as weather and daylight permits.

Here’s a few pics, meant to get the length and width of the hole as well. Can get that or any others tomorrow if you’d like.
