My 77 Bronco has always spit out transmission fluid in the tansmission to transfer case adapter. It comes from the little vent right next to the shift lever for the transfer case. I know that they are supposed to vent. I blew the old c-4 and installed a remanufactured one. It still does the same thing. I am about to weld it shut. I also know that the tansmission and the transfer have their seperate vents so if I do weld it I don't think it will hurt.

Pressure build up is going to go somewhere. Probably blow a seal. Maybe a dipstick problem? Too much fluid. Just guessing. Find someone with a c4 Bronco and borrow their dipstick to check your fluid level.

I fixed it.....

We'll I think I fixed my spewing problem. I used drip check sealer to fill my vent tube and spewed like hell from somewhere else and I had to unplug the hole on the side of the road. Now it won't leak a drop.Hmm...darn strange...
