I thought I was the only one that did that. ;D

My wife is worse than me about leaving the darn turn signals flashing on the trail. Most of the pictures I have of her behind the wheel, the darn thing is flashing. LOL
Funny thing is that if you figure the odds of them being on when you take a picture it should only be in about half of them. For some reason it always ends up being the best half.

The F250 I recently bought has the trailer wiring messed up. If I turn the 4 way flashers on the trailer brakes come on each time it flashes. One of these days I'll dig into it to fix it.

Would that be Red neck antilock brakes?
Something like that.;D The first time I used it to tow with I went up to Liberty from here. On the way back the F250 was getting hot coming up the mountain so I put the flashers on because I was moving along pretty slow on the highway. When I did it became interesting really fast.

If the gap between the steering wheel and the column is too wide the signals will not self cancel. It's an easy adjustment.

Where is that adjustment made? On the wheel or on the column? What does the adjustment involve?

My blinkers worked with my stock wheel, but replaced with grant wheel and now they do not cancel.

thanks....

There is a lock ring on the steering shaft in the engine box, rught under the shift mechinism. It looks like a regular clamp but it has a tab that goes up into the steering column to hold the lower bearing in place. You gotta loosen this up and pull the steering shaft up tight and then re-tighten it. Then you can get your steering wheel to sit lower on the shaft, take up that gap and cancel your lights out.

On all the 77s I have with an aftermarket wheel I have had the same problem.
I have tried to fix it so many times only to have it fail a few week later.

I now learn to be more aware and self cancel the damn thing.....
