Guys, I twin sticked my T-Shift the other day, now I can’t get the front wheels to go into low. All is well getting rear into low and both front and rear into high. Is there some sort of trick I’m missing.

Is the shifter hitting the floor plate? And have you confirmed hubs unlocked that the front driveshaft is locked up or is it still free spinning, it the linkage hitting something

If I recall, I dont think the T shift transfer case can do front low by itself, rear has to be in low first, then you can put front in low. Even then, sometimes the gears don't line up perfectly, and you need just a slight roll to get it engaged.

On mine I have to push my rear drive stick foward holding it, then put the front drive in gear. It takes 2 hands. I think it is a adjustment thing.

Thanks guys, I’ve tried all of the above. Nothing seems to work. It’s like something is blocking the forward movement. Guess I need to tear it apart.

Are you and automatic or manual? What transmission? .... if your an auto, you might try using that 2 hand method while rolling with the brakes completely off, that way the gears are tuning but dont have any real load on them. And then obviously visually check for any physical blockage of the shifter to engage including the shift rails.

With hubs unlocked and both twins in neutral, reach under and give the front driveshaft a little spin.

I've had to fo that a few times with my J shift twins while mocking things up.

You guys are great. I re-read all the suggestions and went out to give it another try. Bobs suggestion worked. It turns out the rear lever was hitting the dash. I just needed a little more forward movement, removed the knob to get a little more and it worked. You guys are the best.

o_OIts the NV3550 trans with the advanced adapters setup.
I have the exact same setup, but mine likes to pop out of gear when driving. It's so soft and smooth, it's like there's no resistance, or at least, very little. I replaced the ball/detent and spring, and that helped some, but sometimes it still wants to slide out of gear. Ugh.😫🤬
