Pulled my steering column yesterday on a 73' and found the harness attached to it doesn't seem to match any of the videos or diagrams i've seen. is this an OEM harness or has it been replaced with something else?

Early years had separate six pin and two pin connectors. The eight pin was introduced at some point, and then finally the curved design was introduced. Personally I've seen less of the eight pin than any other. I'd like to know the years of the various connectors if anyone knows.

6 plus 2 was 66-69, 8 was 70-73, Cresent was 74-77.

And since it's a '73, would you mind making note of the colors please? At least don't throw it out (yet) and take some pics so we can see.
Reason I ask is that I've seen some inconsistencies in the '73 harnesses.

If you see a part number anywhere on the switch, and/or on the wire cover, definitely make note of that too!

Thanks

Paul
