Yes, there are marker lights in the quarters and front fenders, I went with the flush, hidden lenses that have one coat of color and 4 coats of clear over the lenses. Took a while to figure out how best to install them but they came out great. I'll post some close ups when I hook the LED's up later this week.

Little bit of a hot rod twist for the side marker lights.

Flush mount and hidden. One coat of color, 4 coats of clear, wet sanded down to have no edge lines. I really like the clean sides.

The picture of the rear doesn't do the color justice very well, the glare makes it look amber but it is really bright red. The fronts are actually amber. I tested the color coats and at least with the copper, more than one coat of color washed out the red/amber LED.

I'm also going to tie the side markers in with the turn signals, I think it will look cool if they flash.

Are you going to leave the bullet holes in place ?

Never mind, I now see where you said they had been fixed.

I am just amazed that the turn signals can't be seen in the pictures when not lit.

That is really cool !

Thanks, I think the side markers came out very nice. Flush lights are pretty common place with the street rod crowd but I've never seen them done on a EB before. This was the first time I've actually done them, pain in the butt but I think it really gives a unique look. I'll wire them up to flash with the turn signals, that should show them off a little more.

I like to make appearance changes that are very subtle. I'm not a real big fan of wild customs, especially on vehicles like the EB, I think you take away from the classic look and lines when it gets too crazy. Great thing about restorations on the EB, so many ways to do one and mods are very accepted within the EB crowd, not as many purist as with the Mustangs and Vettes. Plus, it's a heck of a lot more expensive to go absolutely stock. I do like stockers for show though.

If I get time this weekend, I'm going to start on putting the doors back together, Flaming River power locks (I fitted the actuators prior to paint) and BCB power windows so it should be interesting.

Can't remember the last time I stared at my computer screen dumbfoundedly repeating "wow". Those side markers are sweet.

Nicely done.

Thanks, I think they came out pretty sweet. Tied into the turn signals they look cool. Only drawback with that set up is without running a jumper from the front to the back for just turn signals, the rears come on with the brake light. Small compromise...

Moving along now, grill and headlights are done.
