update

pics added. Getting closer.

I ran it a week with the WH 2.5 in lift the rear and the dana 30rancho 2 inch lift in the front while I was waiting for the gear swap on the dana 44.

stock 3.50 was running like 2300 at 75
4.56 ran 2700 at 75 mph.

1. Need a ballpark measurement for knuckles so I can install rims to check back spacing. Current rims have 4 inches. going with heim steering from toms

What measurement do you need? If for the length of tubing you'll need for your tie-rod, someone will likely have that, but exactly what are you using for steering? A "kit" or something you're putting together? What size tubing and what brand/size/style rod ends?
Why don't you just mount up one rod end to the knuckle, install rims and check? If the rim itself clears, keep an eye out for stick-on weight locations.
With 15's, it's likely going to be pretty close with 4" of bs. You'll know soon enough!

2. brake lines did not match up. Brake lines from caliper to stainless connection 1 size larger.

You probably need something like this: http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/76-79_Caliper_Hose_to_3-16_Inverted_Flare

garbez I believe got me the measurement. Using Toms heim steering linkage.

2. Bought WH extension 1462 for lift. Stainless lines that screw in too block (1462) on top of dana 44 go in fine, but stainless too either caliper dont fit. So yes I need either 3185 or 3188. The one with the same size threaded holes as the 1462 block.

Has the be the #3188 if you're adapting '76 calipers to '75 and prior hard lines.
The #3185 is simply a replacement hose for a '76 or '77 EB with factory disc brakes.

They both fit the calipers of course, since they're the same, but Ford changed the fitting size on the axle end when they changed to discs. If you re-did the stainless hard lines along the top of the axle and used '76/'77 tubes, then you'd indeed use the #3185. But if you have standard '66-'75 hard lines, then you need to adapt using the #3188 hoses.
