I am trying to check the VIN but haven't had any luck. I requested a Marti report but the first answer was that the VIN is not valid. What am I doing wrong?
The VIN is:
V15GLW65791

Thank you so much.

It should be a "U" as the first digit not a "V". Look close at the VIN tag on your Bronco and you may see it's a U15 and maybe got put on the paperwork as a "V15".

Hope this helps!

In case it is a U, how can I check the VIN best? Most online websites require the 17 digit VIN.

Hi, where did you get the VIN# from? Are you looking at a small metal plate? I think the sixth letter W should be a number, not a letter. I could be wrong but triple check each number and letter on the metal plate. Good luck

66' and 77' were the only two years that had 6 numerical digits, 66' had 7 or 8 where the W is and 77' had a 0 where the W is on the August-December 76' builds.
