Hey guys I'm having a little trouble figuring out my vin, the only one I found so far was the glovebox one and it starts out as 014?, and I thought it could only be U13, U14, U15? Any help is much appreciated, thanks

Not sure I've been working on getting it from the grandson who sent it to his grandfathers attorney to get signed because he has Power of attorney. What's the single digit mean?

Not sure, as far as I know, there were no single digit DSO.

I'm wondering if it could be a door from one of the postal/ice cream trucks.

The frame VIN can be tough to find but if you look on the top of the rail on the passenger side, further back than the starter and up close to the firewall you will find it. Others here have suggested a wire brush and water and that worked for me. Interesting to know the outcome of the O14 mystery. I guess there are Ford ice cream trucks with the same glovebox door?

I couldn't really see mine too well....very faint...

So we took a piece of paper laid it over the frame in that location and then rubbed a pencil on the paper. Came out good enough for the old Hag at the DMV....ehr
..uhh...I mean the honorable state employee questioning the varasity of my glove box warranty/vin tag.

Dude I'm sorry, but that frame VIN does not look factory, I've never seen a factory stamping look like that, that looks like it was punched one letter at a time. Now, I've only owned three of these but every vin I looked at was straight and pretty evenly stamped. AND thats what DMV looks for as well.....
