There's all sorts of places to mount one undernieth the floor. The shop I worked in used them fairly often on smaller coupes when space was tight.

I was thinking passenger side under floor, right behind the C4 cooler, baffled so mud doesn't get all up there.

I have thought about doing something like that in the past (never knew they put together a kit for it). I always came up with issues finding a place that was protected enough and could handle the airflow needs. Remeber air needs to flow in and out, and not loop around as well. I never figured a way to do this in any of my conventional build ideas, there were a few oddball ideas I thought of that this might work (think rear engine bronco). Had a few other ideas that went with a bed mounted radiator, but not willing to give up the utility to do so. Also had doubts on airflow at speed.
