Awesome stuff, here! Brings back a lot of memories on how the sickness gets started. For me it was match box cars, Schwinns and now Broncos.

GREAT thread! I will play with some vintage photos from VA, TN and GA. Many/most are of my first couple of EBs (light blue '77 and dark blue '77) from '77-'83 (hairstyles, short shorts, cut off jean shorts, whip antenna with rebel flag, Gumbo Mudders, Ground Hawgs and KC daylighters everywhere dictate the era for certain) but some are from regional 4x4 shows and mud bog events. Photo in snow of EBs with canoes is one I found years ago.

Mac, the photo with the broncos in the snow and canoes is from Jan 1980 on the Current River in Missouri. It was -5 degrees when we set out that day. I'm on the right with my friend Ron. I still have everything in the pic, with the exception on Ron who passed a few years after this pic was taken. I use this pic as my avatar.

Let's try that again. The second pic with the Bronco "Mr. Superbad", see how many Broncos you can count in the pic. I don't have a total yet; there's a bunch! The original pic is not real clear.

I bet these are from where they have the drag racing in yazoo. Nyles could confirm that. Been there once with him, but forget exactly where the place was.

very cool pic, yazoo ms wonder if one of them are Nyle's bronco

he knows where that place is, very sure of that.

I know I worked in the Delta around the yazoo area in 1986 n there were Broncos on ever rice farm.Farmers told me they were the only 4x4's that could truly get around the fields in the drive back home . Most all were already rust buckets though.

Guarantee ya they still had either mud runs, or drag runs back then too

Yep, I went to several old mud drags in the delta. There were some over arounde Cruger-Chula area and some up around Marks Mississippi I would go to. Also had some for awhile over around Ruleville.

Good Times!

Yep, this was my Bronco, it was my pride and joy at the time. I sold it, got it back and then moved for work and left it in TN. Broke my heart to let it go to pot and then sell it years later. I have photos of its transformation back at the time. Back then parts for lifts and such were very limited. It rode on 44s and yes, took it to the indiana 4 wheel and off road jamboree a couple of times and caught their eye.

I have a lot of other bronco photos from back in those days as well i will look for and post up here.

Mac2night what is the story on this bronco did you leave it in south Ga I may know where it is now.

Thanks for posting up pictures. The purpose of the thread was for the enjoyment of seeing our beloved Broncos back in the day and also some might even have a connection to the pictures. (like brokehorse).

Here are a few i have, these were from a mud run called Echo Hills near Pigeon Forge that used to run back in 1980. Photos aren't the best but the camera wasn't much to speak of then. Oh and one of my Bronco at that time as well.
