Thanks for posting those awesome shots! I could see rich exhaust behind the Bronco in one of the bog shots and now 'I know the rest of the story!" ;D;D
I bet the Cleveland and those huge ground hogs could churn up some churn up some serious mud clods!
Was the puller your motor home? It looks interesting too!
The green one turned into this black one.
It got cut up no one wanted to buy it turn key. The engine went to a nostalgia drag racer and the body went to a mud Racer named Tubby McDonald.
It was a lot of fun back then.
My last year was 1996. I was the undefeated Pro Stock champion at my "home town" track in Illinois.
7 years later I'll finally follow up on this…
Back on post #21 there were pictures of this green '67, and I knew it immediately as a Bronco that's been local to me for decades. Well here it is this evening! A family friend owns it, and his Brother bought it from B&B in Gadsden back in the 70's.
I haven't found any old photos in my parents stash yet of old Broncos but I did find one that was cool. Evidently my parents had a poster made back when I rode bulls. It kinda relates. I wouldn't have found it if i wasn't looking for the old mud drag pics

OK! Thanks for posting up the pictures of the '67 as it exist today! Amazing how close it still looks to the same as it did 45 years ago! It appears that the pony has been in the barn for a while!
This thread got me revved up on old pics. Not from the Southeast, although that too, but also from beautiful west Michigan. Here's the first Bronco I ever owned, don't remember the year, but V8, three speed, 35" Hawgs and aluminun spokes. Also came across the Maverick that I swapped a V8 into, 325 hp with a 4 speed. Kept blowing head gaskets, probably due to the 13:1 pistons. Also, probably my favorite, a 1957 Tbird barn find I bought and re-did a bit. That thing was a real babe magnet!

Thanks for posting them up Howard! I love the aluminum spokes on the Bronco!... and the other 'vintage' photos too! That '57 thunderbird is very cool!!
