Waterskiing anyone?

The lack of snow here is making me wish it was warmer so I could go skiing. Learned not too long ago and last year was able to get up on one ski. Still a lot of learning to do. Tried some as a kid but didn't end well and also didn't like weeds which where everywhere so that was another reason for me not to learn.

I learned on Lake George NY in 1969 behind a wood boat with a 45hp outboard. Good Times!

We still have a cottage there & we have lots of old skis - the set that we have a lot of fun with is the "Hydro-foils" I don't know the brand but they are some big flat boards with an aluminum V under them and 3 wings on the bottom. When you get it right the skier rises 1-3 feet out of the water riding on the foils. I've tried several times & have never done very well but My Dad and Son can both do it. These pics are my son & his friend - the looks from other boaters is pretty funny.
