What is the best way to spray or apply POR 15 in those hard to reach places?

I plan on applying POR 15 to my Bronco's undercarriage but there are some places that I can't reach with a brush. What have you used to reach those places? Is there something I can attach to my air compressor that won't get clogged up within two minutes of use? Thanks

You can spray the por, but you have to thin it down. Have you tried some model type paint brushes? Small skinny ones like a pencil. You could tape a stick to them to make an extension to get to hard places.

IS IT BETTER TO BRUSH OR SPRAY POR-15?
Most people brush it on, but many spray also. Proper equipment and organic vapor particulate respirators for solvents are essential for spraying.

HOW DO I THIN POR-15 IF I WANT TO SPRAY IT?
You should use only POR-15 Solvent for thinning. Keep lacquer thinner handy for clean-up. Do not thin POR-15 more than 5%.

Last fall I did the underside of my tub as well. I was able to first apply the paint in tight spots with a brush then I used a spray gun, the pressure pot style so I could spray upside down.

I did not have to thin the POR15 while using a 1.5 mm nozzle, but did have to thin the Chassis Coat as it was a little thicker.

It looks as though everything got covered in good shape. I would recommend brushing the seams first so they get a little extra protection.

I used some disposable sprayers called Preval, I think. You get a bottle and a compressed air can. You fill the bottle and screw on the air can and spray. It's not good for body panels, but for tight spots, it is handy.
