Emtrons tuning method means no MAF is needed, so I could just go that route.
Since you want to use a traditional-looking throttle body, speed density is probably the best way to go. The only way to run a MAF reliably would be by using a carb hat and some additional plumbing which I think you were trying to stay away from.

Emtron uses Throttle Mass Flow to calculate Mass air flow. Which would work perfectly for a throttle body. They are trying to release a more budget friendly ecu that could be mass adopted, vs their high end race stuff.

From their webpage:

Getting into more detail, the flow through a throttle body is governed by three physical elements, Conversation of mass, Newtons second law of motion for fluids and Conservation of energy. By combining these elements the ECU can model the flow of fluid through the throttle body accounting for throttle plate thickness and throttle shaft size. By then including real-time data such as the pressure ratio across the throttle plate and the instantaneous throttle area, the ECU can precisely calculate the mass flow rate through a throttle body.

I'm copying that post. I get so sick and tired of trying to explain to rubes on the FB groups I admin that "EGR not bad. EGR good. Harrumph". All the rubes are out there chanting in unison, "Its smog stuff..get rid of it".

In general agree, but not big fan of a 5.0 HO EGR plate (@ throttle body) and the PCV, TB to pass side valve cover tube, combo.
Even my bone stock 86 5.0 Capri ( I bought new and still own), had a nice carbon/oil combo
on the TB and intake, not that long after first getting it.

Theoretically, that TB to valve cover tube should be flowing to valve cover, but it seemed to flow the other way
@ full throttle at times, maybe creating a vac across that tube, with all the airflow rushing by.

Winter is coming....

Thinking tubular mustang intake setup mid 90's, and Holley Terminator X Max which gives you 4r70w control. Anyone? 65mm throttle body, 30lb injectors...

Would this work on my Explorerer motors

Website says ford 302 351, so I believe its plug and play to the injector/intake setup you have. I'm asking as well, who has done this version?
