What my Vin can do for me

hey classic broncos,

I am not really sure how to ask this so I am just going to throw it out there and hope for the best.

I am looking to obtain a certificate or data sheet of sorts that can break down what my 74 Bronco came with originally.

Color code, axle code, Model and all that other good stuff.

If I understand it correctly there should have been a sticker or plate on the drivers door jam that listed this info. Unfortunately that isn't present!

Does anyone know the best place for me to look? Can Ford get me what I am looking for using the VIN # stamped on my Frame Rail?

I did a basic search but I am not really sure what to ask so I didn't get a lot of helpful feedback.

You can also get a reproduction warranty plate (VIN plate you're thinking of). It went on the inside of the glovebox door in '74.

In regards to the VIN Plate that goes into the glove box... is that ordered through the marti report as well?

I am looking at the deluxe package and it give an options for this:

DATA TAG, METAL (Metal Tag)

Is that the door tag or the VIN plate?

Got my report today! Some real cool info on it. Although there is one part that has me confused and concerned... for Series Model and GVW the report says this ----> U152 U-100 Bronco Wagon 4900 Lb. GVW

I was under the impression that a U152 was a 4700 HD Package and a U150 was 3900 U-100 Wagon. I can't find anything that says there was ever a 4900 GVW... Does this mean my VIN Plate for the glove box is going to be wrong?
