New Wiring Harness for sure. Not the trickest thing but a necessary evil for a solid build.

I'd have to go in this order..

1) re-gearing the front and rear end
2) installing EFI
3) ARB's front and rear
4) Higher output alternator
5) The heater motor upgrade
6) nice seats

2 weeks ago when it was 18 degrees, the chevy blower motor upgrade would have topped my list.

I'm somewhat of a purist, except when it comes to brakes & steering. Put all FoMoCo disks on the '68 & '74, and did the Chevy conversion on the '71. Hate to admit it but the '71 is prob the best driving EB I've ever had! (And I've had quite a few!)

Firstly, power steering. Now I can turn a corner with one hand. And secondly, soon to be power brakes(drums still), but hopefully be able to stop with one foot!

You guys are making me feel great about finding an 77 Bronco, it has power steering and brakes!! For me it was rebuilding the rear diff so my ratio's matched front and rear. Installed TRUE TRAC and 4.57 gears in the 9". It was 4.57 front and 4.11 rear when I bought it. Worked well in snow but was a bitch getting out of 4wheel. Smooth as butter now when shifting!

We bought our '77 new and ordered everything we could so it was upgraded pretty good to start with. The one thing we've done that comes to mind is the electric selector valve for the fuel tanks. It don't leak onto the carpet, it isn't confusing for other drivers to use, and it was less expensive than a new factory replacement.
Yes, this is my best upgrade for sure.

4x4x2 power steering! I only have 33x12.5 tires, but it was still a work out when it had manual steering.

The two future planned updates that might take the number one spot would be either an overdrive auto tranny or a new wiring harness.
