i have about a 2-3 inch lift and i cant seem to find the correct shocks... i went to autozone and the ones they gave me were all the right size and such but the bolt hole was too small, will drilling the bolt hole on the shock cause any damage or do i just need to find the right one somewhere?

The shocks generally come with a bag of parts. That bag should have a bunch of sleeves in it. They allow the large bushing hole to be adapted down to stock bolt size. There are several different sleeves as the shocks fit many different manufacturers and vehicles. Some may run a 7/16" bolt, others 1/2", for a foriegn fit it may be a 14mm bolt. Look in the shock box for a bag of sleeves to make the shocks fit right.

For the same price as you spent on the local Vato Zone shocks, you can get some that properly fit from one of the Bronco supply houses.
