Have a new “top” on the coil with the rebuild. The old one has a spot marked |tach|. The new one doesn’t. Trying to hook up a tach but don’t want to fry one by guessing. Tried to get decent pic of installed piece.
And even if it’s not printed on the part (commonly referred to as a horseshoe connector), or even using different wire colors then you can still use the same side of the coil as your point of reference.
Yep, they are both mine, new and old. I need to get my prescription checked on my glasses. When I read your post, I went back to them and dang it, it DOES say that on both pics. I kinda feel silly now. Lol. Thanks for pointing out I’m probably not as mechanically inclined as I once thought.
Nah Randy, it's a Bronco. Therefore it did it's best to mask the true identity of even legit parts by putting up it's Bronco-smokescreen.
