I'm looking at the WH or BCB shorty headers. Anyone have any advice on pros & cons of each?

I'd go with BC headers as they are more of a mid lenght header than a shorty most shorty type headers are only marginally better than stock manifolds. While there is a price differance there is also a power differance. You apt to get more torque output with the mid lenghts than shorty's.
On the side of the shorty headers they are availible with O2 bungs where the BC headers dont have them but you might be able to get them installed if you call chuck or just put them further down in the exhuast system.

I would go with WH they have a ball socket for leak free running and when it comes time to take them off they will com apart easily.

Unless you are a drag racer I don't think there will be any noticeable difference in torque or HP in a Bronco with long, medium, short or stock manifolds.

hate to say it, but ball socket connections don't seal all that well. i'd rather have 2 flat flanges with a gasket.

Can you say "headers" and "seal well" in the same sentance??? They ususally don't go together...;D

HAHAHA .... if you insert the words "do not" . ;D

I used BC's and love the fit. ( no leaks yet either :) ) I accidently ordered the flangeless set , but no problems any ways. I'll be ordering a set of flanged ones for the street ride and transfering the others to the trail rig.

I've never had any problems with headers leaking on my vehicles. But then again I've never used the cheapy ones.
With a good set of headers and exhuast system you will notice a differance vs stock manifolds or most standard shorties.

I just put in a set of Hookers yesterday. They are a mid length and went in real easy. They don't drop all the way down to the radius arms so they don't loose any ground clearance. They are new so the jury is still out on the seal and quality but they sure fit nice. I also had an "H" pipe installed behind the transfer case with a flange to seperate the duals for removing the t-case and trans. This thing is almost stock quiet now even with the headers and dual Magnaflows! So far I'm quite pleased.

I bought BC Broncos headers at the first of the summer. Got them quick and install was easy no complaints.
