Picked up a Speedo cable from Parts Plus after mine melted on the headers. Looked at how the fitting went into the D20 and the one I picked up is completely different. Went back and they have 3+ cables that will supposedly work. 302 with the C4 auto 4x4.

The parts desk guy and I both think its the y-801. 82" long? He could have it in stock this afternoon

Assuming this is it: http://www.tomsbroncoparts.com/product/speedometer-cable-66-77-early-ford-bronco-new

^ The one on the Bronco now doesnt have the black cylinder before the D20 connection though

Do it. You dont need a speedo cable right away anyhow. Might as well support the vendors! Just dont spend all your money there!

Definitely. So I'm assuming the D20 end just plugs in and the bracket is what holds it in? I didn't tug on the cable without the bracket on but I don't see how else it would stay in

Yes it just pushes in the D20 hole. The bracket along with a O-ring is what holds it in. Give it a yank!

Save the gear and the clip!
