Their domain expired on the 6th. Someone dropped the ball. If anyone talks with them, tell them they need to renew it ASAP before they lose it.

When they realize they are not getting any web based orders, I think they will find out who's fault it was for letting it lapse...%)

OMG!!!!! What am I going to do?

Well, you could call. Just like last week. ;D

Sorry everybody. Jim just posted a new thread letting you know that we'd be back up shortly. Been working on it since just about first thing.

Funny thing is, since we could access it with no problem, and orders (at least some?) did come through this morning, we thought we were up and running.
First few phone calls messed up that feeling quick!

Anyway, we should be up in "an hour or so" according to the people that should know.

Thanks

Paul

When I click on the link I get the website, but if anyone is still getting to the wrong place, Let us know.
Please hit your reload button first, but if that doesn't work, give us a shout-out here and we'll see if there is anything going on with the domain-server-hootis-people that we don't know about.

Thanks

Paul

DNS propagation can take up to 72hrs before the record expires. That's why some folks could still get there while others couldn't. But eventually, nobody would get there.

Fortunately for you, your domain registrar set the new TTL at 5-min so as soon as you renew, the new record should begin propagating almost immediately.

Does anyone know what happened to wildhorses website?

Since no else has asked you Thunder, I will- When has it become "cool", appropriate communication, etc. to address one of the more respected Vendors for Early Broncos on a public forum with a subject line that we all know what it stands for? When I saw the title I thought-"what in the world has pissed this guy off with wildhorses"? I real your op and had to chuckle.

Reminds me of driving to my home in BFE and going through the dead zones for cell service. This is especially entertaining with teenagers in the car have a little chat session with their BFF's on their Iphones!

No, I am not the CB word police, just a customer of WildHorses since 1997 and think they, as-well-as our other supporting Vendors deserve more respect than what you gave in your subject line-based on the "issue"

Not really sure why some can and some can't. Sure seems to be the vagaries of computer science/voodoo rearing it's ugly head again.
I'll pass the info on in the morning Scott, just so they know, but I'm not sure what can be done from our end.

I was on the phone with a customer earlier today, when things were already back up and running, and just to make sure that it wasn't his browser's cache that was causing some issues (I've had that happen on my own computer before) he fired up Chrome to see if it would act any different than Explorer. Still couldn't access the site.

But as you see from comments here, there are those that are no longer having any problem getting on. So it's not that our site is down any longer, but some freak of the internet that is messing with us.
Hope it all gets better by morning.

Just FYI though, for the last 24 hours I've had multiple sites that I could not access for anywhere from 15 minutes to 6 hours, with different messages shown each time. Including sites that I posted to one minute, only to show a screen-of-death the next.
So it's not just us today.

Was on another forum where, literally while I was watching, the entire page of subjects and links disappeared and just the headers (including our own ad) stayed visible.
Very much like a template waiting to be filled in. Even the links in the "template" no longer worked.
Bizarre.

Possible to be that DNS bug that some have, as some servers were shut down to protect themselves. Maybe they were servers that your system travels through to get to our site? I have no idea how it all works, but that seems as plausible as the "my dog at it" or "the Artesians took it!"
