Yet Another...... Super Single Exhaust Set-up

Well it all started as a set of long tube headers into dual 2 1/2" exhaust through spint tech mufflers (hollow boxs) dumped over the rear axle. If it were a hot rod or mud or sand drag truck that would be perfect. But as it was with my mostly stock 302, it scared the crap out of my little girls and every time I fired it up they would scream and run inside the house. It was pretty effective at getting me some peace and quite when I wanted it hahahah..... Anyways....

So I did some more horse trading with Sicaz66 and ended up with a set of JBA Shorty's, a 3 stage Flow Master, and set of twinsticks.

I had the exhaust put on by Cannon Muffler in La Habra. Those guys do great work and I got a killer deal for the set-up. They ran it 2 1/4 down tubes into a "y", into the muffler, 2 1/2 out the back with a chrome tip shooting it down towards the ground. The thing sounds great. Just loud enough to let you know it's a V-8 when your standing next to it. And gives a nice growl as you run down the street. Definitely toned it down enough to be able to carry on a conversation around. I'm very happy with the set up. Enjoy the Bronco Porn!

Thanks for posting the exaust pics, Im looking for a few ideas as I get closer to finnishing my build. I like how you set it up and it sounds like your getting the sound im looking for. BTW, did you happen to buy the stainless brake line kit from Tom's. I did and have no clue how to install them. It has specific places to make your bends and mine are not marked and I did not get directions. Yours look real clean so I thought you might have some ideas.

I can't tell if one of my headers on my super single exhause is leaking or if its just loud because I have no carpet on my floor, and I have the vent hole exposed on the kicker panel. Sounds good just ideling, but sounds like the headers are leaking when I step in it. Anyway to really check other than listen?..lol

will try it... I know once they get hot, its out of the question. I will see if any of the bolts have loosened.

It was either Bronco Graveyard, or Wildhorses. I don't remember. I got the pre bent set though so I cant really be too much help as to where to bend them. Sorry.

The easiest way to find leaks is have someone plug the exhaust tip with a rag and then you can easily here all the leaks.
