Moving on to the clutch while I wait for driveshafts to be modified. Why can't things just go as planned?

I've go allot going on. Power brakes so I have an aftermarket booster bracket. It's blocking the Speedometer hole just ever so slightly. I'll grind the bracket and fix that. My real issue is the speedometer hole and the clutch M/C are not the same size. Speedometer hole is much smaller. See photos. The M/C is for a 1992 F150 with 5.8L see photo

Question is do I enlarge the speedometer hole or just use spacers on the M/C bolts. I've not seen anyone reference enlarging the hole or spacing so I either have the wrong M/C or maybe no one had mentioned it because it's obvious to enlarge. The M/C SHOULD go through the firewall......

Just want to get a feel for what everyone else has done before I go to removing metal

Tim
