Hi, I can't name all the different things on a later passenger car block, but the main ones concerning your Bronco are the oil pan and pickup tube, threaded hole on drivers side for the clutch pivot ball does not exist on later blocks, but there is a work-around, and if you have a manual tranny you would need a pilot bushing. Good luck

I can certainly see how it is appealing being a full package for the price.

You're converter or flywheel it will need to be balanced to 50oz. Bronco is currently 28.

If you have a manual transmission, it may not have the bell crank bolt hole either.

tpatton75, how’s the torque curve, and are you able to run regular unleaded?

Thx!

The Summit listing has a HEI type distributor and you need a Motorcraft DurasparkII distributor. The size of the cap isn't the problem. DurasparkII distributors work with both sizes. The OE 302 in your truck will have the oil pan, pick up, dip stick, distributor, exhaust manifolds, and thermostat housing. See if Summit can substitute a Motorcraft electronic distributor with the small cap that's correct on '76s.

Blueprint uses a small cap HEI for Bronco, you might be better getting your block rebuilt keeps oil pan, clutch, flywheel and distributor. My build was frame up with new wiring and accessories

I also prefer having the motor rebuilt locally. You can get it built to your specs with the right cam for the bronco. I would get a new water pump but the res of your old stuff should be fine.
