I have looked everywhere for a fiberglass tailgate

Am I missing something? Anyone know where to find one?

Thanks

I'm torn between a steel and fiberglass one becasue of usage. Dragging things across it, shovels, tool boxes, etc...

I've thought about lining the inside of my tailgate so I can "use" it too.

Remember you lose the FORD stamping on a FB tailgate too... Might have to put on some vinyl decals.

I'll most likely use steel tailgate, doors, front fenders and grill. The rest will be FB. But that for another thread. :)

Are there any advantages (other than rust) to using a FB tailgate?

No. Its lighter obviously but it doesn't feel as strong as a metal TG. Oh and no rattles!

When I was at Mike's shop we discussed a tailgate and IIRC he said to make it the way he would want it, the cost would be prohibitive. when Mike does something he wants it to be a good product at an affordable price.
