• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Anyone deal with build-a-bronco out of Marshall, MI (near Kalamazoo.) I have a Jeep Wrangler that I am going to be selling (green, 2001 Sahara with 4" lift and 69,000 miles if anyone's interested) and looking to pick up my dream car (Bronco) at some point now or in the future. I was thinking of driving down to Marshall to check this particular Bronco out. I have been an peruser of your boards and believe I remember someone having bought a car from them in the past.

Thanks for the help!

Also - if anyone has any suggestions on issues they may see in the pictures. I'm not as concerned about it being 'perfectly original'; rather am loking for something that I can use during the summers and is not a problem-child.

Can't access the link from work but I've seen a lot of Broncos come out of this place recently. They appear to be newer to the game and are churning out a lot of trucks. From the pics I've seen of other builds it looks like they do a very nice job - frames looked clean, welds were good, body and paint was nice and most of the drivetrain was new.

Would be worth a drive down to see what they have IMO.

Well lookey-here; you were waiting for me :) I'll see if I can make it down there this weekend but it's unlikely - having 2 kids and a pregnant wife isn't condusive towards escaping at the spur of the moment. Having 2 kids and a pregnant wife is also not condusive towards buying an older-model bronco :)

Does the number you provided reach you on a Saturday? I'm guessing I won't be able to make it down before the auction ends, but I might try to stop by sometime in the near future to see what you guys have going on. I'm up in Muskegon, so it's still a little bit of a hike.

I love the Bronco you have listed, by the way. Since I probably won't have time to check it out before the auction, maybe we can talk about what other projects you have going on. Maybe save ourselves some eBay fees...

I've done months of research on a quest to buy an EB. I've looked at every website and every pre-owned classified ad in the country, I've also talked offline with many of the members on this forum. After talking with several companies that build custom broncos and several companies that sell bronco parts who recommended buildabronco, I decided to take the plunge and have my dream bronco built by buildabronco... Sean and Brian are upfront and honest, have a tremendous willingness to get you exactly what you want and after corresponding with previous buildabronco customers you can feel comfortable knowing that you are going to get exactly what they promise.

P.S> I passed on the ebay bronco and obviously decided to get one built..

Thanks Jason. I am beyond excited to build your Bronco. If its OK with you I am going to be uploading some pics of the build up. Maybee you or me could start a thread in the build up section so everyone can see what we are doing and watch it come to life. binghre I will message you with my cell number and you can call anytime tonight or this weekend. Jim will be here tomorrow but i will be out of town. I could meet you on Sun. too if that works for you. We could talk it over, maybee we could build you one exactly how you want it.

Hey - This is my favorite Bronco Color! I have been calling it Lamborgini Blue. I saw a new 2010 Mustang last night and it looked just like this color. It must be a Ford factory color. Very cool looking Bronco.

Yep.. I was told mine was called medium blue, but then I ran across a ford paint specialist and he said the color is in fact called lambo blue.

Good lucking rig.. Good luck with your quest and congrats on the convert from Jeep. I did the same thing after 3 CJ's and complete bliss- I will never go back.

Thanks all for the great advice. Shuan (from buildabronco) and I have corresponded some and I've already been incredibly impressed with his honesty and willingness to share his expertise. Sounds like a great guy to do business with.
