New Vintage air kits under dash or through dash

Looking to order and I see they have 2 options for their kits, what is the advantages or disadvantages between the 2.

Pretty simple, do you want to modify your dash, cut holes and change your configuration or just hang it under?

I don't care for the look of the underdash as well but looking if the through dash created other issues . Just looking for feedback, my Bronco was getting used for parts so I'm missing steering column and all the heater components.
