Thinking of going to A/Ts... Fitment Question:

Hey all.

I'm running 36" Super Swampers on my 69, w/ a 4.5" lift. Tires are pretty hacked up, but still have decent tread left. I'm crediting the tires with SOME of the 'death wobble' vibration I've been experiencing intermittently.

For that reason, I'm thinking of going to an A/T for better ride quality...

Question: Would a 37" KM2 fit similar to my Swampers?

There is a set on CL mounted to some black Soft 8's (i think).... but before I make an offer, wanted to get some thoughts.

Thanks everyone!

Good lookn rig ya have.

I don't know about the swampers ride height but a friend has the bfg mt km2 37 12.5 15 on 9" rim... they measured 36.25"

I don't know what the bfg all terrain t/a ko or ko2 measures out at.

From the pics on that c/l ad... I would be suspect that those are 70%.... folks like to imbelish.

My 35" SX's are 1.5" shorther than the 35" KM2's I just put on. Road manners and enjoyment of driving are night and day different!

thanks for the responses! will likely be pulling the trigger on the KM2s.

Last Question: Would a 13.5" tire fit my 10" rim? They're 15x10 American Racing wheels. Don't want them to stick out too far though, just curious how the KM2 WIDTH compares to the Swamper 12.5 width...

Thanks all.

Yup a 10"wide rim is perfect for a 13.5" tire. It will be a huge difference with the BFGs!

Thanks! So after much research, it seems the Swampers are a bit wider than the KM2s...

In your opinion, should i step up to a 13.5 KM2 from a 12.5 Swamper?

I also can't find 36" KM2s ANYWHERE. I'd like to go 37" but those are tough to come by too...

Any ideas?

Ideally, I'd like a 36x13.5x15 KM2 OR 37x13.5x15 I could go to a larger diameter wheel too if that made a difference as I'm thinking of getting some black pro comps.

Thanks again!
