They typically sell low.
Heck, I took seven years when I could have finished in an hour.
I'm happy they kept it mostly correct. .

Free power steering upgrade as well.

The $8k initial was a rape job. Whole thing thrown away.
Rigged body shop deal to save the show.

I bet it was rigged also. The final Bronco was probably rented for the show, from the prospected buyer. Power steering, Dana 44 w/disc. Where did that come from?

I noticed the 4K "Bronco body" was never uncovered when it was in the body shop. They probably borrowed a finished Bronco that they rolled in there and covered. Then they pretended to sell it at the end of the show.

Since this owner of the body never came back which title did they use?? I can't imagine body shop had a title? Also Ed mentioned using the frame. So did they just swap glove box doors and produce a truck with 2 vins??

I agree this was a mostly finished truck for $4K...show was rigged. Even looks like it had the $1000 magnaflow bronco exhaust kit and Def not the same tired 302.

$40k for unknown used engine, tired t-case, weak
AOD and unknown axles???

So I noticed that when Ed did the trans swap he then measured for the driveshafts. OK but then they did a suspension lift and left the driveshafts the same length? I guess with a short 2.5 it might be OK. Just an observation. Also the trans tunnel floor looked pretty new from underneath.

Watching the show, there are some production gaffes like the driveshaft measurement before the lift. But I can tell u for sure first hand there was a lot of work done on the Bronco and the second body was definitely used in the build and not a fill in. Most of the parts cost figured in was all our parts including the suspension, brakes, interior and dress up. Was a blast working with Wheeler Dealers to guide them in this build.
