Has anyone had problems with selling a Bronco on Ebay?

I sold an airplane 3 times on Ebay. The first 2 buyers backed out, had to relist it and go again. It happens so much Ebay has a built in negotation tool, with no repercussions if they don't follow through

I was the third buyer on my Bronco. Good luck for me. And the buyer protection was going to buy it back, including the shipping when the frame VIN didn't match the title. I kept it and worked it out with the court/MVA. THey cut me a check for court fees...

I bought my present bronco on eBay with no issues. Won auction with "buy it now" but flew out to Oregon to inspect it before and $ changed hands.

I buy and sell a lot of cars..........mainly daily drives, but I have also flipped many specialty automobiles

99.5% of the time the ONLY reason a car is listed for sale nationally on a site such as Ebay is *****because it doesn't sell locally*****

There are various reasons a car doesn't sell locally, including but not limited to the top 2 reasons: >car is over priced<, there is something wrong w/ the car not disclosed from the seller.
Frankly, I have heard every excuse, and every justicication in the world for a car being over priced. Some seller/owners are just weird, some live in an alternate universe and have no idea of a fair selling price...instead they have an "advertised price" and have no value for thier own time, or anyone else's.

In the .05% of the time a used car actually has a legtimate reason for being listed for sale nationally, on a collector or specialty car sight and/or Ebay is because...its a speacialty car w/ a small audience of buyers. Classic Bronco's, muscle cars, street rods, very expensive & exotic cars, ect....belong on specialty sites.

I make a living "avoiding problems" when buying and selling cars. Obviously I can't type out all of my experiences, my best advice is, 1) be a knowledgeable seller/buyer, 2) be fair and conduct yourself w/ high personal integrity 3) always trust your own personal knowldge (gut instinct) and never, NEVER become emtionally attached to a car that would/could alter prudent investment stradegy...be able to "walk away" from any & all deals that are, at minimum at least "fair", but perferably in your favor.<- Period.

It's been a few years, but I have sold and bought a few on E-bay. Always matching vin vehicles and completely honest with description. Always placed "some" restrictions on bidders. PayPal only for non-refundable deposit, PayPal, bank transfer or cash on pickup for final payment. I've heard horror stories, but no problems myself. Have your paperwork in order if allowing Canadian bidders, it will have to pass customs. Only hassles I've had were with their shippers. Use the classifieds on here first, much better buyers.;D

I bought a complete turd on e-bay from a car dealership that took the Bronco in as a trade. I am still kicking myself for being so stupid to buy based on pictures and description. I got rid of that and found my second (and current) Bronco on E-bay. It failed to go for the minimum so I contacted the seller and bought it the old fashion way.

I've bought several vehicles on eBay including my current Broncos. I'm sure I over paid which is why I'm sure you want to sell yours on eBay. I tried to sell a couple of vehicles but never had any luck. One just didn't sell and the other the buyer used the buy it now but then emailed me and said he changed his mind. I have however sold several vehicles on Craigslist. I think if you have a decent vehicle and price it fairly Craigslist is your best bet.

It's been more than 5 years since I sold my 65 fastback on ebay but it went super smooth from the wire transfer to the transport company picking it up. Buyer was happy.

I should add I opened up a separate account just to handle that transaction. I wanted to keep it separate from our normal banking accounts.
